1. Abstemious: (formal)
Marked by restraint especially in the consumption of food or alcohol; also, reflecting such restraint.
- He lived an abstemious life.

2. Ensue:
To happen afterwards as a result.
- The police officer said that he had arrested the man and a scuffle had ensued.
- An argument broke out and in the ensuing fight, a gun went off.

3.Capricious:
- Changing mood or behavior suddenly and unexpectedly.
- Impulsive, unpredictable.

4.Agony:
Extreme physical or mental pain or suffering.
- She laid there screaming in agony.
-We've both suffered agonies of guilt over what happen.
- agonies of death.
- We heard an agonized cry.

5. Beseech (old use):
To beg for urgently or anxiously.
To request earnestly; to implore.

6. Hectic:
-Very active or excited.
- Full of activity; very busy and fast.
- a hectic schedule.
- The hectic pace of city life.

7. Callous:
Feeling no emotion. Feeling or showing no sympathy to others.
Synonyms: Hard-hearted;

8. Laconic:
using very few words to express meaning.
Synonyms: concise.

9. Innocuous:
Completely harmless.
- Some mushrooms look innocuous but are in fact poisonous.

10. Lassitude:
Physical or mental tiredness.

11. Plaintiff:
Someone who makes a legal complaint against someone else in court.
Antonyms:
Defendant.

Not be confused with:
12. plaintive:
something which sounds slightly sad.
"What about me?" came a plaintive voice.
"I've lost my money" said in a plaintive voice.

13. Wholesome:
Good for the health; healthy.
-Wholesome food.
- A wholesome young man.

14. Ageism:
Prejudice against someone because of their age.
- It is ageism to refuse someone a position in a company because of their age despite their meeting the requirements for it.

15. Somnambulism:
The habit of walking while asleep.
